JOHN ELEFTHERIOU SENIOR EDITOR

John was self-taught all of his life. His attraction to knowledge and learning were pivotal to his development as an editor.

In 2003 John became a founding member of Fenian Films along with Director Ryan Furlong. John practices a rare passion for life and humanity that resonates through his work. His interest in the human mind has influenced his sharp sense of detail and his fluid and seamless ability to cut according to emotion rather than strictly to story.

A graduate of The University of Western Ontario's Film school, John worked together with filmmaking partner Ryan Furlong on two consecutive award-winning films. In the last few years John has proven himself a passionate and successful editor. His body of work displays a clear and orchestrated approach to every subject matter he edits, from his work on the documentary BARK to the short comedy The Gift, to musical films Snake Road and The Vampire. John adapts his style, pacing and mood to suit the films he works on and always uses story and emotion as his motivation. Continually experimenting with new methods of cutting and always testing new techniques, John's inquisitive nature is a positive asset to each and every production he works on.
